1 Press the tack end through the hole in the waistband left by the previous stud button.
or make a new one if you intend to extend the waistband
2 Place the post of the stud button over the protruding tack end.
3 Turn the entire waistband face down on a towel, holding the stud button firmly against a Solid surface.
4 Using a hammer- knock the tack home, if the tack twists repeat until it doesn't
(these do not come back out, they are a one way only riveting pin)
